Economists, policy analysts and activists have been trying to find ways to end poverty for many years. Recently there has been renewed interest in ensuring everyone has a basic income. APEC’s latest report explains the concept of basic income, its pros and cons, and the potential implications of such a program in Atlantic Canada.
