(S)lower for Longer and the Growing Atlantic Divide

The three Maritime provinces will see a continuation of modest economic growth in 2017 while Newfoundland and Labrador's is forecast to contract, according to the Fall Atlantic Report

(S)lower for Longer and the Growing Atlantic Divide finds that major project spending will provide little support to growth in the Maritime provinces next year, despite some boost from federal infrastructure funding.  And declining investment in Newfoundland and Labrador, combined with fiscal austerity, will lead to a drop in employment.
