Prince Edward Island Budget: HST Increased but Deficit Remains for Another Year

Prince Edward Island's government will increase the HST by 1%, but will still run a deficit of $10 million this year. However, the government's "credible fiscal plan," in the eyes of APEC, projects a return to balance in 2017/2018.
