This bulletin is the first in a series designed to assess what the future holds in terms of Atlantic Canada’s demographic, economic and fiscal outlook, and to stimulate informed discussion on how stakeholders can best respond. This report looks at the region’s overall economic and population growth to 2040. Subsequent bulletins will examine in more detail topics such as the aging population, urban and rural prospects, and the role of immigration and technology investment.
