About the Event The 2008 Federal Budget will be released on Tuesday, February 26th. The morning after the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council will be hosting a breakfast panel to review and comment on this budget. Economic and Regional Perspective APEC's Senior Economist, David Chaundy, will outline the key budget measures and their implications for Atlantic Canada. Impact on Urban Areas Fred Morley, Executive VP and Chief Economist at the Greater Halifax Partnership will provide insights into how the federal budget will impact cities with a focus on infrastructure and the environment. Regional Tax Implications Joyce Hoeven, Ernst & Young’s Partner in Charge - Atlantic Tax, will examine the taxation implications for business and individuals of Budget 2008. | ||
