APEC has produced a number of reports and webinars on how to pursue clean growth in Atlantic Canada, encourage adoption of clean technology and how to facilitate growth of Atlantic Canada’s clean technology firms.

APEC’s latest report takes the pulse of Atlantic Canadian firms that are developing and providing clean technologies. It updates our groundbreaking 2018 study, Growing Atlantic Canada’s Clean Technology Firms, affirming many of the findings from our initial report. This update identifies 160 clean technology firms in the Atlantic region.

Accelerating Clean Technology Adoption in Atlantic Canada (2021)
This report provides insights on the benefits of clean technology adoption, the barriers to adoption and how they can be overcome to help facilitate further adoption. It also identifies key takeaways to accelerate clean technology adoption.

APEC has also examined the potential implications of carbon pricing , hosted a free webinar on the federal carbon pricing backstop, and discussed carbon pricing in its report on clean growth (Chapter 6).
