APEC has produced a number of reports and webinars on how to pursue clean growth in Atlantic Canada, encourage adoption of clean technology and how to facilitate growth of Atlantic Canada’s clean technology firms.

Atlantic Canada’s Clean Technology Sector (2021)
APEC’s latest report takes the pulse of Atlantic Canadian firms that are developing and providing clean technologies. It updates our groundbreaking 2018 study, Growing Atlantic Canada’s Clean Technology Firms, affirming many of the findings from our initial report. This update identifies 160 clean technology firms in the Atlantic region.

Accelerating Clean Technology Adoption in Atlantic Canada (2021)
This report provides insights on the benefits of clean technology adoption, the barriers to adoption and how they can be overcome to help facilitate further adoption. 
It also identifies key takeaways to accelerate clean technology adoption.

Make Your Firm More Sustainable (2021) - a guide for Atlantic Canadian businesses on clean technology adoption
A companion business guide provides you with an overview of clean technology, the benefits of investing, barriers to adoption, and highlights supports available to firms interested in making their firms more sustainable.

A free webinar, Greening Your Business– Lessons on clean technology adoption in Atlantic Canada was hosted by APEC on December 14, 2021. 

Pursuing Clean Growth in Atlantic Canada: Progress, Challenges and Policy Priorities (2018)
This report assesses Atlantic Canada’s progress towards clean growth, highlights some of the challenges, and identifies key policy priorities. The full report and summary chapters are available in English and in French.  

Growing Atlantic Canada’s Clean Technology Firms (2018)
This companion report focused on how to facilitate the growth of Atlantic Canada’s clean technology firms. The report is available in English and in French. The report release was followed by a webinar held later in the month.

APEC has also examined the potential implications of carbon pricing , hosted a free webinar on the federal carbon pricing backstop, and discussed carbon pricing in its report on clean growth (Chapter 6).
