We're hiring: research assistant (student opportunity)

Research Assistant: Summer Student Position

Economic research assistant, including data collection, analysis and report writing.


  • Current university student entering graduate economics program or third/fourth year of an undergraduate economics program. Business students with economics background also considered. Must be a full-time student returning to university in the fall.
  • The student must be a permanent resident of Nova Scotia or live in Nova Scotia for at least six months prior to the work term.
  • Strong Excel background
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Well-organized
  • Experience conducting research and knowledge of the Atlantic Canadian economy is an asset
  • This is a remote-working opportunity. Must have access to a reliable personal computer, internet, and the ability to videoconference via Zoom 

30 hours per week for 8 weeks, starting July 6th.
