Kathryn Coll is President and Managing Partner for HR Atlantic. HR Atlantic has been effecting positive change in workplaces throughout Atlantic Canada and elsewhere in North America since 1998. HR Atlantics team of consultants are highly experienced in the most challenging arenas of human resource management and labour relations, with clients in both the public and private sector.
As President and Managing Partner of HR Atlantic, Kathryn balances firm management responsibilities with her own vibrant practice. Kathryn leads clients through HR strategies addressing critical issues such as engagement, retention, workplace assessments and harassment investigations. Kathryns solid and practical advice guides organizations through tough workplace situations and her clients are assured knowing that their problem is in capable hands. We help workplaces to work better every day, and we have our clients success stories to show for it.
Before joining HR Atlantic in 2001, Kathryn held executive positions with responsibility for human resource management and labour relations for two large organizations in Ontario. Kathryn launched her career with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University, a Masters in Industrial Relations from Queens University, and a Certificate in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University, and she is additionally trainedto deal with mental health and performance issues in the workplace.
Kathryn served for ten years on the Board of the Greater Charlottetown and Area Chamber of Commerce, serving as President in 2012, and presently serves on the Board for the Standards Council of Canada and is a Founding member of the Atlantic Canada Chapter of the International Womens Presidents Organization.
